Swiss AI startup nextesy in the top 20 of the Slush 100: pitching in Helsinki for EUR 500'000
Zurich-based AI startup nextesy has made it into the top 20 out of more than 1'400 startups at Slush 100 and will pitch live in November 2026 at Slush in Helsinki, one of the most important gatherings for startups and venture capital in Europe. For nextesy, the nomination is an international validation of its AI-first approach, with which the company is transforming business administration for Swiss SMEs, freelancers, and fiduciary firms.
Zurich, 14.10.2026 – nextesy, a startup with roots in the ETH and HSG ecosystems, reports crossing the threshold of 2'000 active clients for its AI platform for business administration tailored to freelancers, startups, SMEs, and fiduciaries.
International stage for a young Swiss startup
On 18 and 19 November 2026, Slush brings together over 12'000 founders, investors, and tech professionals from all over the world in Helsinki. With Slush 100, the event hosts its own pitch competition for early-stage startups founded in 2023 or later that have raised less than EUR 10 million in total. From all applications, Slush first selects the top 100, from which a jury selects the top 20. These startups pitch live during Slush Week and receive mentoring from the global Slush network. The winning team receives EUR 500'000 without equity dilution, as well as a speaking slot at Slush 2027.
For nextesy, reaching the top 20 primarily means visibility in the right place: hardly any other event in Europe gathers so many investors over two days. «The fact that the jury selected us among the top 20 shows that they see a future in nextesy», says Dr. Milan Kuzmanovic, Chief AI Officer of nextesy. «We built a product where AI handles routine tasks while entrepreneurs only oversee them. This external validation encourages us to develop the product even faster.»
Tailwind for the next growth phase
The nomination comes at a timely moment for nextesy. The company exited stealth mode in April 2026 and now counts over 2'000 clients according to its own figures. The platform handles routine tasks such as receipt recognition, account assignment, payment reconciliation, and dunning, and is tailored to the Swiss market with VAT, Swiss banking, QR-bills, and payroll accounting. Just recently, nextesy also launched a completely redesigned CRM tailored precisely to the sales processes of SMEs. The current focus is on scaling the platform and expanding the team.
Kuzmanovic will travel to Helsinki together with CEO Dario Fazlic to represent nextesy on site. In addition to the pitch, meetings with investors and potential partners are on the agenda. «The Slush 100 top 20 is great recognition for the entire team», says Fazlic. «We started from Switzerland for Switzerland, with a product tailored precisely to the needs of local businesses and fiduciary firms. However, our ambitions extend beyond Switzerland; the fact that our approach also resonates on the international stage gives us tailwind. We are going to Helsinki to win and to find the right partners for the next phase of growth.»
nextesy's pitch will take place on 18.11.2026 at 12:19 PM on the Startup Stage.
