The four statuses
Each contact receives one of four statuses. This allows you to see at a glance where the business relationship stands.
Healthy (Green): Great! There are no irregularities; the relationship is running smoothly.
Monitor (Yellow): At least one factor indicates an issue. Not an emergency, but it should be monitored.
Risk (Red): Serious payment or debt collection issue.
Calibration: For new contacts with insufficient payment history. You will still see open items and reminders from day one; the overall status follows after a few paid invoices. Serious issues, however, are displayed immediately.

Four factors, one status
nextesy Contact Health examines each contact from four perspectives. Each factor receives its own traffic light, and together they make up the overall status. The most significant factor is how reliably your customer has paid to date.
Payment behaviour: Does your customer pay within the agreed payment term? nextesy Contact Health compares every paid invoice against the terms agreed with this contact across the entire business relationship.
Open items: How much money is currently outstanding for this contact, and how much of it is overdue? A snapshot showing what is currently at stake.
Reminders: Have you already had to follow up? This factor is directly linked to the dunning process in nextesy. Once a dunned invoice is paid, nextesy automatically resets the dunning status.
Revenue trend: Is the business relationship growing or shrinking? nextesy Contact Health compares the revenue of the past 12 months with the 12 months prior. The revenue trend provides context: a customer who buys less, but pays on time, will not slip down for that reason alone.

Are you a good customer? nextesy Contact Health for suppliers
Reliability is not a one-way street. For your supplier contacts, nextesy Contact Health shows you how reliably you pay yourself. Based on the same principle, with four factors:
Payment behaviour: Do you pay within the payment term given by your supplier?
Outstanding liabilities: How much do you currently owe them, and how much of it is overdue?
Payment reminders received: Has this supplier already issued a payment reminder to you?
Purchasing trend: Are you purchasing more or less than in the previous year?
This allows you to identify early on where you might be jeopardising an important supplier relationship before it leads to a delivery stop, worse terms, or debt collection proceedings (Betreibung).
